Heritage Diagnostics, Varanasi operates the Heritage Diagnostics mobile app. This policy explains how information is used to provide diagnostic and home sample-collection services.
Information we use
We may use your name, registered mobile number, age, address, prescription images or files, selected tests, order status, payment mode, sample details, reports, and notification token. Staff account and work details are used to process orders.
Camera, gallery and notifications
Camera access is used only when you choose to photograph a prescription. Gallery or file access is used only when you select a prescription or report file. Notification permission is used for order, sample, and report updates. We do not use these permissions for advertising or background surveillance.
Why information is used
Information is used to secure accounts, process diagnostic orders, arrange sample collection, communicate status and reports, support users, prevent fraud, and meet applicable medical, accounting, security, or legal requirements.
Sharing and security
Information is available only to authorised Heritage Diagnostics staff and service providers needed to operate hosting, database, communication, and push-notification services. We do not sell personal or health information. The production app uses HTTPS, password hashing, authentication, and role-based access controls.
Retention and deletion
We keep information only as necessary to provide services and meet applicable obligations. You may submit an account deletion request. After verification, eligible data will be deleted or anonymised. Records required for medical, legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes may be retained securely for the required period.
Children and medical notice
The app is not intended for independent use by children. A parent or guardian should manage services for a minor. The app supports diagnostic services and report delivery; it does not replace medical advice, emergency care, diagnosis, or treatment.
